The Morris Agency – State Farm Insurance is seeking a high-energy Acquisition Specialist who thrives on prospecting, closing, and driving new revenue. This role is built for a true hunter—someone who enjoys outbound activity, competitive targets, and turning opportunities into bound policies and financial solutions.
This is a pure acquisition role. No management duties. No administrative focus. Success is measured by new business written, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
This is a fully licensed position requiring Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Candidates who are not yet licensed must be willing to obtain licenses quickly with full agency training and support.
Role Overview
As an Acquisition Specialist, your mission is simple bring in new clients and new revenue. You’ll actively pursue prospects, uncover insurance and financial needs, and deliver tailored solutions that protect clients while growing the agency.
What You’ll Do
Drive New Business
  • Prospect daily through outbound calls, follow-ups, and lead engagement
  • Sell insurance and financial service products across auto, home, life, health, and financial service lines
  • Convert both warm and cold leads into bound policies and financial products
Lead Sales Conversations
  • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover coverage gaps and financial opportunities
  • Present clear, value-driven recommendations with confidence
  • Ask for the sale and close consistently
Maximize Revenue
  • Cross-sell and upsell to increase revenue per household
  • Build and maintain a strong personal pipeline focused on acquisition
Stay Sharp
  • Maintain knowledge of products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Stay current on market trends to strengthen sales conversations

Qualifications

  • Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain quickly with agency support
